His movies are known to have the right amount of sentiment intertwined with the perfect amount of comedy. Usually, his films have a chunk of comic relief, the right amount of emotions, and the screenplay has a social message woven into it. V Sekhar usually uses mediocre backdrops in his movies, and mostly portrays middle-class households through his films.
He always puts a personal touch in his films which are loved by the viewers, especially the middle-class audiences. Sekhar has made immense contribution to the popularity of family drama films and TV shows. He was primarily active in the 90s and early 2000s.
